Salmon Cheese Puff Pastry with Yougurt Dip
How to Make Salmon Puff Pastry with Yogurt Dip
Salmon fish is good nutrition and also good for eyes. Here is the step by step process os making salmon puff pastry with yougurt dip.
Ingredients:
400 grams cod fillets
2 tbsp dry white wine
2 tbsp lemon juice
150 ml cream
100 grams cream cheese
2 tbsp chopped parsley
300 grams frozen puff pastry
500 gram salmon fillet
1 egg yolk (Beaten)
2 tbsp chopped almond
Half cucumber
200 grams plain yogurt
100 grams cream
Salt as required
Pinch of ground pepper
Lemon slice for garnish
Parsley to garnish
Preparation:
1. Chope the cod fillet into chunks and combine in a bowl with the wine and 1 tbsp lemon juice. Season with the salt and pepper. Put the freezer for about 15 minutes.
2. Place the fish mixture, cream, cheese cream and parsley in a food processor or food mill and pulse until they become smooth. Pour into the bowl and chill.
3. Preheat the oven to 180 Degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.
4. Lay the pastry sheets on top of each other and roll out on a floured work surface to about 3 times the size of the salmon fillet and place on the baking sheet.
5. Spread half of the cod stuffing on the middle third of the pastry. Place the salmon fillet on top.
6. Season with salt and pepper. Spread with the rest of the stuffing. Brush the edges of the pastry with egg yolk.
7. Sprinkle with the sliced almonds and bake until they become golden and puffy about for 40 minutes.
8. For yogurt dip, Peel off the cucumber, cut them into the middle. Remove the seeds with small spoon.
9. Grind them and squeeze the water by using the kitchen towel.
10. Mix the yougurt and cream. Also add the lime juice, a pinch of salt and pepper. Add this mixture to the cucumber.
11. Slice the salmon pastry into pieces. Garnish with lemon slices and parsley. Finally, the salmon puff is ready. Serve hot with yougurt dip.
